What strikes you about this reading?
-Cursed is the ground we walk on (we’re walking through sin)
-Everyone’s blaming each other
Let’s go back and examine Satan’s tactic...
-Serpent asks, “Did He really tell you that?” to raise doubt in Eve’s mind
-Serpent words the question to make God seem not personable
-The serpent used the TRUTH for evil
How was trust broken in this story?
-Doubt raises
-Words of God are twisted by the serpent
